Tangit Uni-Lock 160 m is an innovative thread sealant designed for fast and reliable sealing of metal and plastic threaded connections. It provides instant sealing for water, gas, and compressed air systems and is a modern alternative to hemp fiber and PTFE tape.

Applications

• Sealing threaded components according to ISO 7-1

• Metal threaded connections up to 4”

• Plastic threaded connections up to 1.5”

• Cold and hot water systems up to 130°C

Particularly suitable for threaded joints that require immediate tightening and minor alignment adjustments before operation.

Resistance

Resistant to gases of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd family (3rd family in gas phase only), hot and cold water, gas condensates, and compressed air.
Not suitable for pure oxygen systems, oxygen-enriched fluids, chlorine, strong oxidizers, diesel fuel, or PPSU pipe materials.

Storage

Store tightly closed in a cool and dry place.
Shelf life: minimum 60 months from the production date.
